CBSE 12th result 2020 date: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the result of Class 12 today. The result of both class 10 and class 12 will be hosted on the official websites – cbse.nic.in, cbseresults.nic.in and results.nic.in. Tech giant Google is also hosting the result.

How to Check CBSE 12th Results

  • Log on to the CBSE website cbse.nic.in, cbseresults.nic.in and results.nic.in.
  • Click on the link for CBSE Class 12th results
  • Enter your Roll number, stream and other required details in the given fields, and then click on “Submit”.

CBSE Class 12th Result 2020

Girls outshine boys in CBSE class 12th Result 2020. The overall pass percentage for Senior Secondary Exam has been reported at 88.78%.

  1. Trivandrum region has recorded the highest percentage with 97.67 % followed by Bengaluru with 97.05% and Chennai with 96.17%.
  2. This year, 1.57 lakh students have scored over 90% and 38,686 have scored over 95%.
  3. Girls have done better than Boys by 5.96 %.
  4. The pass percentage for girls is at 92.15 % which is higher than boys with 86.19%.

Lucknow girl Divyanshi Jain, a class 12th student of Navyug Radiance Senior Secondary School, Lucknow has  scored 600 marks out of 600 to get 100% marks in the CBSE class 12 results. She is from Humanities stream and wishes to pursue BA (H) History at Delhi University.She appeared for all the exams of all subjects except Geography, which was cancelled due to Covid-19. The Board calculated average marks on the subject that was calculated making it to 600/600.

In the CBSE result 2020, 157934 students scored above 90% while 38686 students scored above 95%.

Other Methods To Check CBSE Result 2020

1. Through SMS

CBSE class 12 result by sending an SMS from the registered number.

The format which is to be followed for the SMS: “cbse12 (roll number) (date of birth) (school number) (Centre number) on the number 7738299899. The format of the date of birth should be DD/MM/YYYY. Students will then receive an SMS with a subject-wise list of their marks.

2. From Google

As soon as the CBSE Results gets announced, Google also offers the facility to students to check their result for a short time. Students can follow the given steps to check 12th class CBSE result via Google:
