CBSE 10th result 2019 date: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the result of Class 10 today. The result of both class 10 and class 12 will be hosted on the official websites – cbse.nic.in, cbseresults.nic.in and results.nic.in. Tech giant Google is also hosting the result.

How to Check CBSE 10th Results

  • Log on to the CBSE website cbse.nic.in, cbseresults.nic.in and results.nic.in.
  • Click on the link for CBSE Class 10th results
  • Enter your Roll number, stream and other required details in the given fields, and then click on “Submit”.
  • Now, click on ‘Save’ to download your CBSE result 2019.
  • Take a print out for future reference.

CBSE Result 2019 Class 10 Previous Year’s Analysis

Last year a total of 94,474 students scored a perfect 10 CGPA, of them 49,392 were boys and 45,082 girls in CBSE results.

While the number of boys, who have scored 10 CGPA is more, girls have done better in terms of pass percentage.

Girls have a pass percentage of 96.36 per cent which is better than boys who had a pass percentage of 96.11 per cent in the CBSE Class 10th exam.

Overall the pass percentage this year is 96.21 which has come down from 97.32 percent in the previous year.
Area-wise, the Thiruvananthapuram area was ahead of other regions with a pass percentage of 99.87 followed by Chennai region which closely followed with a pass percentage of 99.69 per cent.

A total of 14,91,293 candidates were registered for Class class 10th examination which amounted to an increase of about 8.5 per cent candidates over the last year.

Differently abled candidates also did well in the exam with 95.18 per cent of them clearing it.

School category wise, the Central Government run Jawahar Navodyaya Vidyalayas (JNV) have scored a pass percentage of 98.87 per cent followed by Kendriya Vidyalayas (KV) who have a pass percentage of 98.85 per cent.

Independent schools have a pass percentage of 97.72 per cent while government schools have a pass percentage of 86.61 per cent.

According to data shared by CBSE, 85.62 percent students of Government aided schools have passed.

In terms of scoring a perfect 10 CGPA score, independent schools take the lion’s share with 1,51,061 of their students falling in this category. 12,719 KV and 3209 JNV students also scored, a CGPA score of 10.

The figures of government schools in this regard are not as impressive with 1,242 students from government schools and 307 students from government aided schools scoring a perfect 10 CGPA.

CBSE result 2019: Websites to check

The students can check the result through the official websites — cbse.nic.in, cbseresults.nic.in and results.nic.in.

Last year, the result was also available via SMS. The numbers were 52001 (MTNL), 57766 (BSNL), 5800002 (Aircel), 55456068 (Idea), 54321, 51234 and 5333300 (Tata Teleservices), 54321202 (Airtel), and 9212357123 (National Informatics Centre)

Job For 10th Pass Students

After checking CBSE X Result 2019

Post the declaration of CBSE Class 10th Result, the Board will make the necessary arrangements for the issuance of original marksheets. Students will be able to collect the CBSE XII Result 2019 marksheets form their respective schools after the formal declaration of the CBSE 10th Result 2019. The Results procured or downloaded online from either the official website or Govtjobsbharat.in are only for informative purposes and will not be considered to be a valid document for admission process in any college / university. Therefore, students are advised to collect the original CBSE 10th Result marksheet from their respective schools or centres after the declaration of the CBSE Results 2018 Class 10.

CBSE Class 10 Results – Rechecking & Re-evaluation

For those students who were expecting a better CBSE Result 2019 Class 10, the Board will announce the option of re-checking and re-evaluation of the Board Exam Papers. In the rechecking process, CBSE will re-tally and re-calculate the marks awarded to the students for different questions. Similarly, during the re-evaluation process, the entire answer sheet for CBSE 10th Result 2019 will be re-checked by an independent examiner. The re-checking and re-evaluation process followed by the CBSE Board allows students to clarify doubts with regards to their performance in the CBSE 10th Results 2019. The CBSE Class 10 Results are pivotal to the further career graph of the students.
